The High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University (BJSDFZ) is one of Beijing's most prestigious secondary schools, affiliated with Beijing Normal University — consistently ranked among China's top 10 universities. The school has been a pioneer in international education since 1996, welcoming students from South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Kazakhstan, and many more.

🌟 From 1999–2023, over 80% of international graduates were admitted to top universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and leading institutions in the US, UK, and beyond. 📖 International Student Programs

The International Department offers three tailored learning pathways based on each student's Chinese (Mandarin) proficiency level:

Program 1

🈶 Language Program

Designed for students with zero or minimal Mandarin. Intensive Chinese language learning combined with ESOL, Mathematics (in Chinese), and Cultural Arts.

Duration: Short-term (days/weeks) to one full semester. Students passing finals advance to Diploma or Regular Program.

Program 2

📋 Diploma Program

Small classes exclusively for international students. Full academic curriculum in a supportive environment, preparing students for Chinese national standardized tests.

Subjects include: Chinese, Math, ESOL, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, IT, and more. Also includes HSK, IELTS & TOEFL preparation.

Program 3

🏫 Regular Program

Full immersion — study alongside local Chinese students in standard classes. The highest level of integration available.

Middle School: HSK 5 ≥220 | High School: HSK 6 ≥220

The International Department uses a personalized, tiered teaching model — students are placed into appropriate levels based on their proficiency in Mandarin, Mathematics, and English. The teaching language is primarily Mandarin Chinese, with English taught as a subject (ESOL).
